In this article, let’s find out where to find the best stealth gear in KCD 2, as well as what characteristics are important for stealth.
The right choice of equipment affects how easily you will be seen, heard or decided to search. If your character is a thief, assassin, or simply likes to avoid direct confrontations, it’s important to know what gear will help you stay invisible and inaudible.

What parameters are important for a stealthy character?

The characteristics of the loot are very important. There is no need to take all the items to loot. The following are the parameters of things that you should rely on when looking for stealth items.

The first and most important parameter is noise. The lower its value, the less chance that NPCs will hear you. This is especially important in houses where wooden floors can easily give away your presence, as well as in stealth kills – the quieter you sneak, the less likely you are to wake up a sleeping enemy.

The second parameter is Visibility. This parameter determines how easily you can be seen by others. If you can lower it to 20 or lower, NPCs will only be able to see you if they are in close proximity. This is especially useful for nighttime forays, when you can literally walk past guards while remaining invisible.

The third factor is Conspicuousness. The higher your Conspicuousness, the more likely it is that NPCs will be interested in you and search you. However, this parameter is less important, because if you use Conspicuousness correctly, the guards will not even be aware of your presence.

The ideal stealth gear should provide:

  • Minimal noise – allows you to move silently.
  • Reduced visibility – reduces the chance of being seen.
  • Moderate stealth – reduces the chance of being searched.

Now let’s find out what items of equipment are best for a stealthy character, and most importantly – where to find them.

Best stealth set in KCD2 and where to find it

1. Burger Perpoint

The first important piece of stealthy gear is the burger hood. This headgear reduces noise and visibility.
The hood can be purchased from the Tailor in Troskowitz. This item is available from the beginning of the game and is one of the easiest ways to improve your stealth.

2. Black Coat

The Black Coat is one of the best items for a stealthy character. It makes little to no noise and reduces visibility significantly. Wearing it will make you hard to spot even in the city.

Where to find it:

The cloak can be purchased from Miller Jozsef. It is only available during daytime (from 10:00 to 17:00). If Miller is not selling it, you have probably already purchased it.

3. Knacker’s Gloves.

Gloves play an important role in stealth, especially in pickpocketing. Nacker’s Gloves reduce the noise level, so your movements will be noticeably quieter.
To get this item, you need to complete Miller’s quest line. After completing this quest, you will receive the gloves as a reward.

4. Gartered Hose

Lower clothing also affects the noise and visibility levels. Black stockings have low values for these parameters.
The stockings can be found in a chest in the building in the Graveyard. To get them, you will need a lockpick or a hacking skill.

5. Silent Shoes

Shoes are one of the most important pieces of stealth gear. It is the shoes that determine the noise level when walking. Silent Shoes allow you to move almost silently on wooden floors and places where it is easy to create noise even with a slight squeeze.

The item can be obtained by completing a quest from the mercenary Pavel in the village of Wysoka. You need to agree to his quest to steal items from NPCs. If you do everything right, you will get the boots as a reward.

Even with the perfect gear, you need to know how to use it properly. Before you go on a night out, make sure that the noise and visibility levels in your inventory are minimized. If the values are too high, try removing unnecessary items, such as heavy armor, as they can increase noise.

Always move in stealth mode (Ctrl), especially if there are NPCs nearby. Even if it seems like the enemy is far away, it’s better to be safe. If you need to pass through a lighted area, wait for an NPC to turn away or use distraction tactics.

If you have a dog, give it the “bark” command to draw the NPC’s attention elsewhere. This will help you get inside a building or steal an item unhindered.
Also, always carry lock picks with you. Even if no one notices you, stealth becomes useless without hacking skills.

With this set, you’ll be able to sneak around silently, sneak past guards, and open chests without any problems.
